This month I am participating in the A-Z Blogging Challenge where I will endeavour to post on this blog each day. It’s my first attempt at the challenge, I hope that I have the stamina to complete it.
I will be going through the Curry forenames in my surname study database from A-Z and, as per the event schedule, will share some of the articles I have found on Trove relating to Currys. For problem letters like X and Q I may resort to Google.
I’m going to steer clear of accidents and death today and share some happy news in this short post. Irene Mary Curry is my second cousin twice removed.

Irene shares my convict ancestors Patrick Curry and Ellen Moore.
So they got married then had the Nuptial Mass.
My ex is catholic and I am protestant, we got married in my parents house with a priest and a minister. Before the priest would officiate, we had to take marriage courses (a book we had to read and answer questions together).
I am enjoying your posts

Thanks Dianne, the challenge has forced me to focus on my Surname Study which may be to the detriment of my personal research …but it’s all good fun.

Jill,
Did you know there are a couple of Curry’s buried in Lismore and one in Kempsey (that I’m aware of anyway) ?

They don’t immediately spring to mind immediately Caitlin. I need to look at my database which lets me search by place.. I appreciate any headstone pics I can get. Hint, hint.
