This month I am participating in the A-Z Blogging Challenge where I will endeavour to post on this blog each day. It’s my first attempt at the challenge, I hope that I have the stamina to complete it.
I will be going through the Curry forenames in my surname study database from A-Z and, as per the event schedule, will share some of the articles I have found on Trove relating to Currys. For problem letters like X and Q I may resort to Google.
By searching through Trove it has been possible to develop a timeline of the life of Rev. William Curry in South Australia.

As newspaper coverage in Trove is not available past 1954 I can’t find any further information on Rev William Curry. I will have to resort to other resources to read about his later life.

That was an interesting trip down the news items. I’m happy to see that the daughters were really talented in music and followed that interest. As a minister’s daughter, I sort of cringed when I saw they had to provide the entertainment at the manse, thinking of how awful it would have been for me. They seemed to be fit for it though.

Thanks for sharing these articles about William Curry. His wife, Mildred, was my grandfather’s older sister. I only met them once, in 1985. Aunt Mildred was very sweet & Uncle Will had a wicked sense of humour!
